Borough Council to Hold Town Hall Meeting on Creating Police Department

Myerstown, PA – Myerstown Borough Council will hold a town hall meeting to discuss the creation of a borough police department.  The meeting will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Myerstown Community Center at 101 South Railroad Street, Myerstown, PA 17067.  Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend and share their opinions on the matter.

Myerstown Borough does not have a local police department.  The Borough is covered by the Pennsylvania State Police for law enforcement.

Guidelines for preventing the spread of Covid-19, including social distancing measures, will be followed at this meeting.  Details will be announced closer to the date of the event.
