Borough Facilities closed to the public for two weeks.  Easter Egg Hunt, Heritage Center Meeting postponed.

Based on the recent recommendations from the Governor of Pennsylvania and public health experts, Myerstown Borough is implementing the following measures to help slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19):

  • Through March 27, 2020, all Borough buildings and offices will be closed to the general public.  At that time, Borough officials will reassess the situation to determine if it is safe to reopen to the public.
  • Myerstown Borough Public Works and Wastewater crews will continue to operate and Borough office staff will continue to work on-site while offices remain closed to the public. If you have a question for a staff member, Borough staff will be available through email and telephone at (717) 866-5038.
  • Essential in-person meetings with Borough staff may be arranged by appointment.
  • The Annual Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled for April 4, 2020, has been cancelled.
  • The meeting for the Heritage Center and Museum, scheduled for March 17, 2020, has been cancelled.
