Leaf & Yard Waste Collection Program
The Public Works Department will be picking up leaves and yard waste in the morning only on the following dates:
| October | 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25 & 28 |
| November | 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25 & 29 |
| December | 2, 6 & 9 |
Important Points About Collection:
- Yard waste consists of leaves and small sticks.
- Pick up will be accomplished only if the leaves are placed in clear plastic bags and the bags are at curbside.
- Clear plastic bags can be purchased for $0.25 per bag at the Myerstown Community Center (101 South Railroad St.)
- For large branches, contact the Public Works Department at (717) 866-6948. Be sure to leave your name, address, and telephone number. The department will contact you to arrange pick up.
UPDATE: No vegetables, including pumpkins, will be accepted for collection. If they're discovered in your bag(s), the affected bag(s) will be marked for non-removal.
