Building Code Permit Applications can be obtained at the Borough Offices at the Myerstown Community Center at 101 S. Railroad St, or at the link below. Permit Applications can be submitted either at Borough Offices or at the offices of Light-Heigel and Associates, Inc.

Am I allowed to have a Garage Sale in the Borough?
Yes, you can have a garage sale (or yard sale) in the Borough without a permit.
Per the Borough Zoning Ordinance, yard sales are a permitted use "by right" in the Borough, meaning you are allowed to have the sale and only need a permit if:
- You have more than 8 yard sales in a year
- You are routinely selling new merchandise
- You can have more than 2 signs advertising the event
- You have a sign up more than 3 days before the event (sign has to be taken down within 24 hrs after)
